| The Partnership works on a daily basis to help grow our community through
economic, community and downtown development programs.
Our economic development programs
help bring new businesses to the region, help existing business expand, and help bring
a talented, targeted workforce to the area to serve those businesses. Our Community Development
programs bring Partnership investors and members together, support our affiliate chambers of
commerce and other organizations around the region, and encourage area businesses to work
together. Our downtown development efforts ensure that the central commercial core of Greater
Des Moines reaches its full potential as a vibrant, “24-7” community of residents, businesses
and entertainment/nighlife venues.
