Affiliate Chambers

The Partnership and the Regional Affiliate Chambers created a new membership model in 2008 that combines the value of Chamber benefits with the value of Partnership benefits in one dues structure. Local Chamber members automatically become Partnership members as well. This collaboration offers businesses all the business to business connection their local Chamber provides, as well as the regional access and exposure the Partnership provides. This "two for one" value helps businesses grow, helps Chambers grow and helps the Partnership grow. The power of the Partnership is now supported by 21 regional Affiliate Chambers and business organizations and more than 5,700 regional member businesses!

Under this new regional member model, the Partnership continues its focus on regional economic development and creating an environment that welcomes and encourages business and community growth. The Partnership's strategic initiatives impact the region as a whole: regional economic development, workforce attraction and retention, downtown development, and regional business development. The Affiliate Chambers' programming elevates the voice of small business and creates local connections for members to access other local businesses and the community at large.

Regional members of the Partnership have access to a wide range of tools to help their business and workforce grow. Some member advantages include:

• Regional workforce recruitment assistance including an online job/resume database
• Business resources like Look Local First and online business tools
