This intern program is designed to accommodate local businesses, organizations, and educational institutions in the housing search for summer interns. The program enables interns to network with each other during their time in Des Moines when they're not working or studying. We've partnered with Grand View University to make sure your housing needs are met during your summer internship in Greater Des Moines.

Leadership Iowa University
Fashioned after Leadership Iowa, Leadership Iowa University works to educate, inspire and develop collegiate leaders as the foundation for Iowa’s future economic growth.  The program also encourages and facilitates these young leaders’ on-going involvement in local communities and the state to create a better future for all Iowans.  Approximately 30 students will be selected for this year’s program which includes a premier weeklong residential leadership and issues awareness program August 4-8, followed up by one-day sessions in September and February and an ongoing mentorship with a professional in the student’s field of interest.  Mentorships have often resulted in internships and jobs for LIU graduates.
