When regional member businesses of the Greater Des Moines Partnership ring in the New Year this week, they will have an added value to their investment in their local Chamber of Commerce to celebrate.  The Partnership, along with Capital Crossroads Vision Plan partners, the Healthiest State Initiative, and GetActiveDSM launched the Get Active Wellness Toolkit today, aimed at helping local small businesses provide a turn-key wellness programming for their employees in 2015.  

Gerry Neugent, President and CEO of Knapp Properties Inc., will take over as the 2015 Chair of the Partnership’s Board of Directors. Neugent was voted into the position by the 2014 Board on Dec. 12.

The  future of the insurance industry is happening in Des Moines as the Global Insurance Accelerator continues its path toward a 2015 launch.

The Greater Des Moines Partnership’s annual Washington, D.C. trip will take place from Sunday, May 10, through Tuesday, May 12, 2015. 

Executives from Iowa’s internationally-respected insurance companies joined state leaders and Iowa’s Insurance Commissioner Nick Gerhart to announce the return of the Global Insurance Symposium, an event designed to enhance and further the dialogue on the increasing issues facing today’s insurance industry.
