Best Practices in Diversity
Management & Employee Development Ideas
Companies in the Des Moines business community have included a variety of programs
designed to educate and develop their managers and employees about a diverse
workforce. These efforts include providing annual or more frequent training
to all employees focused on diversity; specialized training for managers and
supervisor in fulfilling and maintaining the company’s diversity goals and
policies; management mentoring programs to ensure that all new supervisors
and managers have experienced guidance available to them and an equal
opportunity for high performance and advancement; and providing external
educational and development programs for all employees that enable and encourage
advancement within the organization.
