There's so much to do in Greater Des Moines. Here's the list of year-round attractions, and you'll also find some outstanding seasonal events and attractions as well. The Principal Riverwalk  is newly open, the bridge has transformed our downtown riverfront. Free.

The John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park features artwork of the world's most celebrated artists. These 4.4 acres in the downtown's Western Gateway now display 24 sculptures worth a combined $40 million. Free.

Science Center of Iowa & Blank IMAX Dome Theater
SCI is open 362 days a year. SCI is located at 401 W Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway in Des Moines. Entrance fee.

Des Moines Art Center
4700 Grand Ave, Des Moines. Opened 6 days a week, closed on Mondays. Free adminssion.

Civic Center of Greater Des Moines

Blank Park Zoo

Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino
One Prairie Meadows Dr in Altoona. Free admission to casino and racetrack. Must be 21 or older.
