The Government Policy Council (GPC) provides member investor and affiliate organizations an opportunity to help shape the Partnership’s local, state, and federal policy agendas. The Greater Des Moines Partnership’s 33rd annual advocacy trip to Washington D.C. will be May 9 - 11, 2012. The trip provides business, civic, and community leaders from across the region a unique opportunity to talk with members of Congress and the Administration about a wide range of issues important to Central Iowa. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) is confirmed as the keynote for the Opening Luncheon during the trip.
