The Transportation Management Association (TMA) is a non-profit organization comprised of private and public agencies dedicated to achieving a ten
percent permanent reduction in peak drive time traffic, improving mobility, and educating employers and their employees about metro area construction
projects and commute options. Created in 2002, the TMA looks at transportation issues from the perspective of the commuter, the parker, the rider, the
biker, the shopper - the same perspectives you do.
Funding for the TMA comes from partnerships with the Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (DMAMPO),
Greater Des Moines Partnership, Downtown Community Alliance, City of
Des Moines and Des Moines Area Regional Transit (DART).
Their website, DriveTimeDesMoines.org, contains a wealth of information for area workers and businesses. While visiting the website, sign-up up
for Rest Your Car - their free commuter incentive program - or find
assistance for commuting by checking the Avoid the Rush construction
alerts.
For more information on the TMA, please call (515) 286-4950 or email info@drivetimedesmoines.org.
