The 2012 issue of INclusion Magazine is now available. In 2007, the Greater Des Moines Partnership, Business Record Publications, and dsm Magazine, along with several corporate sponsors collaborated to publish INclusion, a special guide showcasing the diverse culture of Central Iowa.
Reflecting the value and importance of diversity in Greater Des Moines, INclusion celebrates the rich cultural traditions of the region's African-American, African, Asian, Bosnian, Latino, and Native American residents. The magazine also includes sections on diversity in Greater Des Moines' faith community, accessibility for the disabled, opportunities for young and retired professionals and Central Iowa's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered communities. In 2010, the guide introduced a focus on those serving in the military.
The Partnership and area employers use INclusion to help attract and retain a diverse workforce in the community. Publication of the guide is funded by the city's major employers. To request copies of INclusion
