
Partnership Launches a Member Portal

The Greater Des Moines Partnership announces the launch of a newly enhanced member portal to better connect members, regional affiliates, and committees. In one location, members will now have access to various member tools.
Partnership affiliate members will belong to a regional community, where they can connect, communicate, and have access to resources specific to the Affiliate Chamber or Partnership committee to which they belong. Members will be able to login, edit their member information, upload photos, message other members, register for events, post jobs, browse resumes, and view invoices/receipts.
All visitors will find a new approach to some of the basic tools. The calendar of events section has been updated to be user-friendly, with a month view and print option. This calendar also can also be categorized by Chamber events and type.
The improved business search capabilities allow the user to search by keyword, location, business type, and company. One can also go through the regional communities and search the individual Affiliates directory.
These new features were created for members to share, connect, and grow. The member portal went live on November 1, 2011. Click on the Members Only tab on the www.desmoinesmetro.com homepage.
