Passenger Rail: Investing in Iowa's Future

Drive Time Des Moines, Downtown Community Alliance, and the Greater Des Moines Partnership are hosting a breakfast event to promote bringing Passenger Rail to the Greater Des Moines region.  On Monday, October 24 at the Renaissance Savery Hotel Ballroom in Downtown Des Moines.

The event will be an information session for business and government leaders, “Passenger Rail: Investing in Iowa’s Future” from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. It will feature Michigan Republican State Representative Wayne Schmidt, Mayor Chris Koos of Normal, Illinois, and Mayor Matt Hayek of Iowa City. A continental breakfast will be provided.
