Celebrate Business Award Applications: Fast Approaching Deadline

The application deadline for the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s annual Celebrate Business Awards is October 14, 2011!  Regional business members are encouraged to apply for or nominate deserving clients, vendors, or colleagues. The Celebrate Business Awards promote the development of the Greater Des Moines business community by publicly acknowledging innovative and enduring business initiatives.

The awards recognize companies for specific business practices, such as building a reputation for integrity and quality while remaining outside the public limelight, or encouraging involvement in community activities.  Small- and large- business winners are selected annually in several categories, which include:  Best Kept Secret; Community Champion; Lifelong Learning; Best Workplace for Young Professionals; and the Commuter award.  Expanding or new businesses are also recognized each year with the Economic Impact Awards to commemorate the impact a company has had on the local economy in terms of job creation, capital investment and facility expansion.
