Partnership Government Policy Council to Develop 2012 State Legislative Agenda

The Government Policy Council (GPC) will host a series of meetings to develop the Partnership’s 2012 state policy agenda.  Partnership investors and regional members will have the opportunity to hear from speakers and provide input on the Partnership’s policy positions and priorities.  All meetings will be at the Partnership, 700 Locust St. in the Arthur Davis Conference Room, and the schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, September 20, 3:30-4:30 PM
Wednesday, October 5, 3:30-4:30 PM
Wednesday, October 19, 7:30-8:30 AM
Monday, October 24, 3:30-4:30 PM
Tuesday, November 1, 7:30-8:30 AM

The GPC is open to all Partnership investors and regional members.  If you have any issues for the 2012 state agenda that you would like the GPC to consider, please contact Jay Byers, Senior Vice President, Government Relations and Public Policy, at jbyers@desmoinesmetro.com or 515-286-4963.  The GPC state legislative policy and priority recommendations will be presented the Partnership Board for final approval.
