Buy Into the Circle Program receives grant from Prairie Meadows
 | The Greater Des Moines Partnership's Buy Into the Circle program, a buy-local initiative launched in 2004, has received a grant for $10,000 through the Prairie Meadows Racetrack & Casino 2007 Community Betterment Grant Program. Grant funds will be used in part to enhance and promote MarketSource, a website component which will enable area companies to establish buying and selling relationships using online marketing and purchasing tools. Funds will also be used to support other Buy Into the Circle marketing and education efforts. |
Prairie Meadows Community Betterment Grants are allocated by a 17-member Grants Advisory Committee in four categories: arts & culture, economic development, education and human services.
