The Greater Des Moines Partnership is working with Kuder, Inc. to develop a new online network that will connect local employers with a pipeline of skilled workers and provide opportunities to promote business engagement to students and adults.
The online network allows Partnership member and affiliate businesses to create a profile of information that is available to job seekers and to post jobs and other temporary work opportunities. Employers may use this network to address adults seeking employment and to students who are interested in exploring future careers through job shadowing, internships, and apprenticeships. This system will allow businesses to find the most suitable employees and tailor its next generation workforce by connecting with middle school and high school students who are interested in a specific business or industry.
The connection process occurs online using a secure login. Login credentials will be distributed to each Partnership member business and will be available in early August. Connect 2 Business Greater Des Moines will be offered free of charge to Partnership members and affiliates, as well as youth and adults in Dallas, Polk, and Warren Counties.
Connect 2 Business Greater Des Moines was developed by Kuder, Inc., headquartered in Adel, Iowa. Kuder, Inc. is a leading provider of online solutions that help individuals achieve their education and career goals.
