What a year 2009 was! The Altoona area saw growth and expansion despite a year filled with economic uncertainty. With the ushering in of 2010, our city has begun to redefine itself as the “Entertainment Capital of Iowa.” We are extremely proud to have Prairie Meadows, Adventureland and our newest Chamber member, Bass Pro Shops, as premiere partners in this initiative.
