COMMITTEE AND VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

• Air Service Council (Mary Bontrager, 286-4957)
  Volunteers work with airlines to improve the quantity and quality of air service.
  
  
• Best Ball Golf Outing Committee (Rebecca Batcheller, 286-4980)
  Volunteers plan this event held each year in May or September at a local golf course. The golf outing is a major sponsor opportunity and sells out every year.
  
  
• Networking Hospitality Committee(Rebecca Batcheller, 286-4980)
  Member professionals help to host Business After Hours, Business Before Hours, Member to Member and other networking events.
  
  
• Golden Circle Games Committee (Rebecca Batcheller,286-4980)
  More than 500 businesses and 5,000 people participate in the annual afternoon of fun and games. Sign up to volunteer your time, serve on the committee or help coordinate the games. Held in June of each year at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.
  
  
• Government Policy Council (Jay Byers, 286-4963)
  This group establishes Greater Des Moines Partnership ’s public policy positions.
  
  
• Membership Services (Darci Crosby, 286-4922)
  Membership Services will give you information on membership benefits and help you register for membership in the Greater Des Moines Partnership.
  
  
• Partnership Ambassadors (Rebecca Batcheller, 286-4980)
  Ambassadors are selected through an application and sponsorship process. Ambassadors represent The Greater Des Moines Partnership at company ribbon cuttings, welcome and introduce new members and help host Partnership events.
  
  
• Partnership Diplomats (Jay Byers, 286-4963)
  Volunteers that represent Greater Des Moines Partnership when foreign delegations visit the Greater Des Moines area.
  
  
• Workforce Recruitment (Alba Perez, 286-4937)
  This group serves as a guiding force for Greater Des Moines Partnership ’s workforce efforts.
  
  
• Small Business Advisory Group (Meg Fitz, 286-4934)
  This Advisory Group was formed to review programs, services and benefits currently offered by the Partnership and to determine additional ways to better serve this membership segment.
  
  
• Young Professionals Connection (Jessica Maldonado, 286-4924)
  Provides young professionals in the Greater Des Moines area with the opportunity to interact professionally and socially with their peers; contribute to the community through volunteer activities; serve as a voice for young professionals; and promote an environment that helps attract, retain and nurture young professionals throughout the
  region.
