The Greater Des Moines area has an excellent highway system, and sits at the intersection of Interstate 35 and Interstate 80. The area’s central Midwest location puts us just a few hours from Chicago, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Omaha and St. Louis. The area boasts a 19.2 minute commute, making travel within the region quick and easy.

In addition to traveling by car, the Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) offers local bus service.

Cabs are also available by calling ahead. Both Yellow Cab and Capitol Cab can be reached at (515) 282-8111.

Des Moines International Airport – As Iowa’s largest airport, the Des Moines International Airport (DSM) enplaned 951,604 passengers in 2005.  DSM is served by eight commercial carriers with over 120 domestic flights per day.  From Des Moines, passengers now have non-stop access to 17 destinations, and international flights are easily made with one connection in other major cities.
