The Indianola Chamber of Commerce will host the October Regional Business After Hours at Route 65 Harley-Davidson Shop. Join us for networking, food and drink, wine from La Vida Loca, music and tours of the facility.
Route 65 Harley-Davidson is located at 1300 S. Jefferson Way in Indianola.
No cost to members of the Greater Des Moines Partnership and Affiliate Chambers to attend.
YPC`s 4th Annual Non-Profit Forum

Each year, YPC provides an event to tie young professionals with charities and non-profits in Iowa. This year, the Non-Profit Forum will take place on October 15 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Des Moines Social Club, 1408 Locust St. in downtown Des Moines.
The event helps pair young professionals with a charity that fits them. It gives more people an opportunity to volunteer and possibly run for board placement within these organizations.
In addition, the event provides a wide variety of non-profit organizations with an interactive environment to seek out and recruit active young professionals. More than 30 non-profits will be represented at this event, including The Heart Connection Children’s Cancer Programs, Young Women’s Resource Center, Des Moines Music Coalition, Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity and the Animal Rescue League.
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a half hour of networking. Then, attendees will have the chance to participate in a session of “Meet Your Match: Find Your Heart in the Community” with a round table of community leaders and professional volunteers. Topics will include Increasing Volunteerism, Becoming a Board Member and How to Fundraise for an Organization.
Reservations are not required for the event, but are appreciated at www.ypcdsm.com. The event is open for any young professional. Complimentary appetizers and a cash bar will be available.
