About 190 of Central Iowa’s business, civic and regional community leader traveled to our nation’s capital and presented a public policy agenda to promote regional policy priorities and economic development projects during the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s 33rd annual advocacy trip to Washington, D.C., May 9-11, 2012.
Greater Des Moines Partnership Hires Matt Hinch To Lead Regional Public Policy Efforts

The Greater Des Moines Partnership announced Matt Hinch will join the Partnership staff as Senior Vice President of Government Relations and Public Policy. This senior leadership position is responsible for the identification and management of governmental and public policy issues of significance to the Partnership. Hinch will support the organization’s work by elevating and leveraging the alliance between business and government at all levels for the betterment of Greater Des Moines and Central Iowa. He begins his duties on May 29, 2012.

The Greater Des Moines Partnership’s economic development team was instrumental in helping FreebeeCards find and secure a location in the metro area. FreebeeCards delivers daily offers for the Greater Des Moines Area. It went live in the 515 on 5/15.
